I surprisingly ran better than I thought I would. After only taking a day’s rest, I beat my best mile again. Plus, my pace improved too. I felt so good after my set two miles, I kept running for another half a mile holding (actually increasing a little) my pace after my goal. My sore hamstring acted up after one mile, but I stretched it out a little and finished my run. My leg didn’t really tighten up until I stopped my run. I’ve been stretching it all night and I’m confident that my leg will continue to get better and better. On a down note, I didn’t get a little message after my workout from Lance even though I beat my best mile record. I’m a little bummed out about that. I’ll get over it.
