It’s been a long day. I spent about nine hours running cat6 ethernet cables at the new office. By the time we finished for the day, I must have inhaled two cups of sheet rock dust and various construction debris. The top layer of skin on the inner side of my hands has been both rubbed off and coated with whatever waxy material cat6 plenum cable is covered with. We used up 4,000 feet of cable and need at least 2,000 more. The good thing is that we ran the harder conduits so next time won’t be so bad. The new office is looking pretty sweet. I can’t wait to move out of the tiny space that we’re in now.
