The Turkey Day 5K is starting in just eight and a half hours. It'll be the coldest weather I have ever ran in. I hope I can hold up. My legs are doing great and will not be an issue. I just hope my lungs function properly. It would suck to die and miss out on my turkey which, by the way, is sitting in some delicious, herby brine right now.
I'm going to do some stretches and try to sleep now. I'll give my report on my race tomorrow. All I hope for is to finish in this weather. I heard that the Turkey day is more about dodging strollers than actual running. It'll be fun.
