I’ve only left California three days ago and this afternoon, I’m going back. Only this time, instead of San Diego, I’m going to San Francisco. San Diego was fun and interesting, but I don’t know anyone there. San Francisco has Mai, my best friend, so I’m looking forward to it. I’m going to visit her next month for her fashion show, but it’s great that I get to see her early. Also cool, I will again be setting up the Mac Mini media stations at the Moscone Center. I’ve been to San Francisco three times and I’ve never seen it. I’m going to try and refrain from doing any Steve Jobs impressions while I’m there. I’ll limit myself from saying “BOOM” to ten times. This time I am a little sad that I’ll only be there for two and a half days.
I actually didn’t find out that I was going until Monday morning. And even after the first mention of me going, there was a long debate on whether I was going or my creative director. I went back and forth for several hours. I think by mid-afternoon, it was finally decided that I was trekking out to the trade show.
Standard protocol applies when I’m out of town:
- I’ll have limited internet access
- I probably won’t have time to blog
- I’ll be twittering when I can
