Yes We Can

Said What I Had To SayBarrack Obama has officially won the presidency. As much as he has been ahead in the polls, I did not get my hopes up. I’ve been burned before…twice. It is now finally over. This election has gone on way too long. John McCain’s concession speech was good and gracious. Surprising after the messy campaign he ran against Obama. I just finished watching Obama’s acceptance speech. I have to say it was an incredibly moving speech. He seemed like he was speaking from the heart. To say it’s a complete 180 from Bush’s speech abilities is a massive understatement. We finally have a president who is, without question, commanding. I am excited to see how our country will change in Obama’s hands. One thing I know for sure is that I will not miss Bush when he leaves. Not for a second. Congratulations, president-elect Barrack Obama.
