2010 and Beyond!

Happy new year everyone! A new year is upon us and I know we all like to make lists about what we would like to accomplish. I am not big on resolutions. I tend to just make goals throughout the year. But I am feeling like it now. I have to admit right now that I do not have anything in mind right now and I am making them up as I go. As some of you may know, I like to keep my resolutions organic. They may be amended at any time.

Here is my list for 2010:

  • Redesign and relaunch this site. I’ve had this design for a while now and I think it is time for a change. I also have a lot of exciting ideas that may include new sister sites. I will keep you posted.
  • Push my photography further. In 2009, I accomplished a lot more than I thought I would. To name a few, I bought my first full frame camera, I sold my first photo at the Art Crawl, I had a photo accepted into the State Fair Fine Arts Exhibit which also sold, I bought some lighting equipment and I assisted my first wedding shoot. I also shot a few weddings myself, but not professionally. I have been shooting for several years now and I am really happy with how far I have come. I know I still have a ton to learn.
  • Create more creative content. I noticed in the last year and a half, I have become a very active content creator. I already microblog on twitter, publish photos on flickr, publish short videos on 12seconds, and publish longer videos on YouTube and Vimeo. This year, I want to be a little more organized with all my content. More on this later.
  • Get back to blogging on a regular basis. I used to post almost everyday. However, with the advent of twitter, as much as I love it, it has taken a lot of fuel from my writing. I know a lot of bloggers have been afflicted by the same thing. Worry not, I will blog again.

So that is my list. I always have a million things I want to accomplish at any time. It is just in my nature. Therefore this is really just a short list. Any of you have a good or funny resolution? Feel free to comment. I do read them assuming you are not a bot. Also, you can also follow me on twitter.
